I Was NOT Stalking Willem Dafoe
... we just happen to be walking in the same direction for 10 blocks.
Anyway so I'm in the NJ/NYC area hanging out with James. I've been having a blast as he has been showing me around the city. It was my first real experience in the big city. I feel like Bette Midler in this clip from Big Business. I was smiling at everyone and being nice and friendly.
But James and I tried to get special discount lottery tickets for Wicked on Broadway but our names didn't get drawn for the $25 tickets. So we went to Central Park and just chilled. Then we went to eat at the Life Cafe (from the musical/movie Rent) which was just so much fun. I went crazy when I saw the sign for it.
Also walking around the city, we ran into Willem Dafoe. Now this was my first random meeting of a famous person and tried my best to act natural if you can call screaming and taking photos natural (just kidding). I was able to remain calm as he was walking right in front of us. Now if it were Jake Gyllenhaal I would have completely freaked out. What was weird is that I always thought of Willem and not being very attractive but he had shoulder length long hair and was looking REALLY good. I've never seen him with long hippie hair before. He was kinda hot. What was funny is that we were walking about 10 steps behind him and everybody that was walking towards us would take a second look as they passed him and then start smiling. lol Crazy tourists... acting like they've never seen a celebrity before.
But that was it. A pretty uneventful day but we had a blast regardless of spending hours and hours of just walking around. Tomorrow we are gonna try for again for the reduced Wicked tickets.
